Studio Manager - Hannah Singer

I started practicing yoga at a young age through competitive dance, but it wasn't until I seriously injured my back in dance that I discovered a full being healing and love within the practice of yoga. Since high school I'd dreamed of becoming a yoga teacher and fortunately that dream came true May of 2020. I received my 200 hour certification with Vibe (through Zoom!) and it transformed my life completely. Aside from teaching yoga here in Bloomington, I graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors in Journalism with a concentration in news writing/editing and a specialization in photojournalism. I will continue to have yoga at the forefront of all of my work and endeavors. Yoga surpasses a physical practice for me. It's a way of living, being, and showing up for myself and those around me. It is connected to centuries of knowledge, spiritual and energetic depth, and an endless flow of space to grow, learn, connect, and love. It is called a yoga ‘practice’ for a reason, it’s not perfect, humans aren’t perfect, life isn’t perfect. When we show up and unite within, through the power of consciousness that yoga can cultivate, we have the opportunity to best facilitate space in our lives for ourselves, others, and the planet we call home. Vibe has been such a transformative place for me to explore, expand, and create. The community has accepted me with wide arms and I could not be more grateful and blessed to be able to teach, learn, and grow within the walls of Vibe. It is a yoga family like no other!

Alex

I was first introduced to yoga by my lacrosse coach in high school. Instantly, I was attracted to the relaxation benefits that yoga gave me. I am a pre med student at Indiana University and as you can imagine, my course load is quite intense. Yoga is one of the most effective ways I deal with my stress and I recommend everyone to incorporate it in their life. It has taught me how to be more mindful and to really slow down in a face-paced environment. Vibe is truly an escape from my everyday stresses and a place I feel so comfortable and encouraged to grow. I have made so many incredible connections at Vibe and I can’t wait to make more!

Georgia

Yoga has been part of my life since I was young! I would tag along to yoga classes with my mom and older sister and, when I was a dancer, I would do yoga classes here and there at my studio. Yoga became personally meaningful to me in college, though, when I discovered how important it was and is for my spiritual, physical, and mental wellbeing. I love the way yoga allows me to move and connect with my body, tuning into what I need. I am currently a senior at IU with a major in gender studies and a minor in ASL studies. I am so thankful to have found and been welcomed into the Vibe community!

Anna

Anna began her yoga journey when she was thirteen years old and has since grown to love the yogic lifestyle. When Anna came to Bloomington as a Freshman at IU, Vibe Yoga became her home away from home. She recently received her 200 hour teacher training in Costa Rica with Jonah Kest and hopes to continuously learn from the Vibe community as she evolves her yoga practice.
