When a knee injury sidelined decades of running, and her weight lifting regime grew tedious, Ruthie turned to yoga. She craved the physical exertion of power vinyasa classes. Yoga had it all: cardio, strength training and flexibility. Then, much to her delight, Ruthie discovered that yoga offered even more: her asanas deepened and her heart opened. Yoga morphed from a physical practice into a life practice.
In 2013, eleven years after that first yoga class, Ruthie received Yoga Alliance certification from the Asheville Yoga Center. She is delighted to be a part of the Vibe family.
