When a knee injury sidelined decades of running, and her weight lifting regime grew tedious, Ruth turned to yoga. She craved the physical exertion of Bikram and power vinyasa classes. Yoga had it all: cardio, strength training and flexibility. Then much to her delight, Ruth discovered that yoga offered even more: her asanas deepened and her heart opened. Yoga morphed from a physical practice into a life practice.
In 2013, eleven years after that first yoga class, Ruth received Yoga Alliance certification from the Asheville Yoga Center. She is delighted to be a part of the Vibe family.
