When Patricia's then 13-year old daughter wanted to try both Pilates and yoga to see which she liked better, she was game. Just a few classes later, Patricia knew she had found a home: Pilates might be mindful exercise, but yoga was soulful and seemed to speak to all of her. Patricia was intrigued by the marriage of breath and movement and the space that opened in both the body and the mind. As her practice deepened, she found that she had lots of questions, so she enrolled in Vibe's 200hour teacher training, as well as their 500hour teacher training. Patricia hopes to offer classes that allow students to move through a mindful, properly aligned physical practice to enjoy the true benefits of yoga - the ones that come off the mat.
