I am a proud Bloomington native and study Kinesiology at Indiana University. For 13 years my life was consumed by the sport of gymnastics but unfortunately had to give it up due to a serious back injury. My yoga journey began when I realized I never wanted to receive another cortisone injection as long as I live. At first yoga was just a great workout that also served as a remedy for my back, but I soon realized how all the non-physical benefits of this practice were there to shape me into the person I want to be. Besides practicing yoga I enjoy running, going on adventures and eating sushi. I received my 200 hour YTT at Vibe in 2014 and am excited to spread my knowledge with eager students. In my classes, I hope to facilitate an environment for students to escape their "To Do" lists and just be present, whilst being open to all the lovely benefits that yoga can offer.
