Layna began her yoga journey in 2015. She initially wanted to find a great workout, but quickly found that the physical benefits were only a small fraction of what the practice had to offer. The more her body became flexible, strong and centered, so did her mind. After moving to Bloomington in 2018, Layna began practicing with the Vibe community. Wanting to deepen her studies of yoga, as well as have the opportunity to teach others everything that the practice offers, she completed her 200 hour training at Vibe. Layna desires to create a safe and encouraging space for all of her students. She hopes to instill the concept that this is an ever-changing practice, not perfection. When she's not practicing yoga, Layna enjoys traveling, being a foodie, baking and spending time with her husband and their dog, Lola.
