About Vibe:
* Do I need to pre-register for classes?
Pre-registration is an option on our website, however, it is not necessary that you do so. All Classes are DROP IN
* Are all of the classes heated?
NO, we offer heated and non heated classes.
* Is the first class free?
Yes! After your first class we recommend the 2 week unlimited pass so that you can try out all of our awesome teachers and different styles!
* How do I know what style is best for me?
We recommend getting a new student pass and exploring all of the styles that Vibe has to offer. You may find that you like more than one style. We also recommend that if you are a new student or trying a new style to start at a beginner or level 1 class.
* What if I can only make it to a level 2 class time but I am really a beginner?
We understand that it may be difficult to make it to a certain class with your schedule if there is absolutely no way to make it to a class that is your level you may come to a more advanced class, but please ask the instructor for modifications and know that the you may not be ready for all of the postures.
* Where is Vibe?
Vibe Yoga Studio is located on College Avenue north of 17th Street. We are in the Save-A-Lot strip behind Colorado Steakhouse
* Do I have to bring a mat?
We have mats to borrow. However, after your first class they are a $2 rental. We recommend that you purchase your own mat so that you can have a clean, personal and portable yoga space. Mats can be purchased here at Vibe.
* How early should I come to class?
It is best to come 10-15 minutes prior to class so that you can sign in, ask any questions, change and have time to focus before class begins.
* Are there changing rooms and a place to put my things?
We have changing rooms, coat hooks and cubbies for your personal belongings. There will usually be a person at the front desk monitoring everyone who comes in and out, but you may want to leave your valuables in the car or at home.
About Yoga:
* Do I need to be flexible?
No. There are modifications for every yoga pose. Yoga is meant for every body of all shapes and sizes. It is meant to benefit you and not to hurt you. You can always use props and modifications to fit yoga to your needs and the needs of your body.
* What should I wear?
You want to wear clothes that you can move in and that can breath. For heated classes keep in mind that even if it is cold outside you will be very warm in class:)
* What if I don’t have any prior experience?
Everyone is a student of yoga no longer how long you have been practicing. You can be sure that everyone person in a class will learn something new so you are not alone!
* Should I eat before I come?
It is best not to eat for at least 2 hours before practicing yoga. While you do not want to be famished, your body will be at its peak when your last meal or snack has been fully digested.
* Do I have to be spiritual to do yoga?
The basic meaning of yoga is unity—body, mind and spirit. However, yoga is not a religion nor do you have to have a spiritual life in order to practice. Only be ready to experience the holistic benefits of yoga as it positively affects your body and your mind.
* What if I have an injury?
Although yoga is gentle and therapeutic, it is not designed to be practiced with a new or fragile injury. Sometimes the best medicine for healing is rest. If you have a previous injury or chronic aches and pains, let your instructor know so they can help you modify your practice to your comfort.
