  • Harmony Jankowski
Harmony began practicing yoga in 2001, and was immediately drawn to the vigorous moving meditation of Ashtanga. She practiced this and other more restorative styles before falling in love with the creativity of Vinyasa yoga. She completed her 200-hour certification at Vibe in 2011 and looks forward to sharing the peace yoga has brought to her busy life. As a teacher, she endeavors to create a compassionate environment in which students can feel comfortable letting go of expectations. Her classes incorporate pranayama, chanting, and meditation into a vigorous asana practice, inviting students to listen to their bodies, focus their minds, and open their hearts.

  • Jenna Paley
Jenna has been practicing yoga consistently for about four years now. When she was younger, she practiced sun salutations with her Grammy, someone who has always inspired her, and whose kindness and wisdom she’ll always remember when she’s on her mat. She decided to do teacher training as a way to share all of the wonderful things she has learned through her yoga practice, and completed 200hours this year at Vibe Yoga Studio. She comes to yoga to find strength and compassion on the mat, and the classes she is personally drawn to are powerful, upbeat, and lighthearted. As a yoga teacher, her intention is to create a space where you can take a break from your day and focus on finding inner strength and love for yourself…while enjoying the energy of the rest of the group! In addition to yoga she loves to be outside, rollerblade, play with her puppy =) and try new things!

  • Kris Floyd
Kris was first introduced to Yoga, too many years ago now to count, out of desperation to acquire the final Physical Education credits for graduation from Ball State University. On a lark friends suggested that he take a Yoga class thinking that his Type A+ personality in a Yoga class would make for nothing more than a good joke. But, much to everyone’s surprise, HA!, he was instantly smitten with the peace and tranquility of the mind and the physical release of tension and pent up energy in the body that Yoga brought to his life; the Type A+ personality was gently transformed into a Type A-. In an endeavor to deepen his practice and with the desire to share Yoga with the world Kris completed his 200 hr RYT certification at Vibe Yoga in 2011. Kris’ classes will challenge you to explore the balance between release and tension, peace and conflict, comfort and discomfort, and strength and weakness.Understanding that we all bring different experiences to our mats he offers his students movement, focus, and (of course) sweat through compassion, awareness and openness.

  • Kristen Becher
Kristen has been practicing yoga since 2001. Her practice deepened while studying yoga with a Sri Lankan teacher in India in the fall of 2005. It was in India that she discovered the healing effects of the body/mind/spirit connection through the practice of yoga.
In the fall of 2011 she became certified in the 200hour teacher training offered at Vibe Yoga and Pilates Studio in Bloomington, IN. Through this training she was able to deepen her understanding of anatomy and alignment. She believes yoga is a spiritual practice. During our asana practice we work with our body and our sensory system to move deeper into our psychic center. Kristen believes that the transformation that takes place on the mat creates change in the patterns and relationships of our daily lives. Yoga asana practice allows us to free the “stuck” energies in our body so that we may reach deeper within and beyond ourselves to serve those in our personal, local and global community.
Kristen has recently traveled to Kenya with the Africa Yoga Project. She participated in the Seva Safari program to bring her service to the communities in need in East Africa. She was one of 20+ participants that engaged in service projects and yoga classes that are creating new possibilities for positive transformation and healthy lifestyles in Kenya. She is excited to continue fundraising for another journey to Kenya in 2013.

  • Laura Patterson
Laura Patterson E-RYT is the founder of Vibe Yoga Studio. Since taking her first yoga class in 2005, she has fallen in love with the practice, and constantly seeks to share the profound benefits that can be gained through the simple process of awareness. She hopes, through Vibe, to create an oasis of calm focus to which students can retreat whenever they need renewal.
