  • Brooke Borneman
Brooke was introduced to Vibe Yoga classes in 2009 while attending Indiana University. As an athlete for IU, Brooke used yoga to escape the rigors of Division I athletics and rediscover her passion for fitness. She is a soon to be graduate of the School of Public Health with a Bachelors degree of Health and Fitness Specialist with a minor in Nutrition. Brooke first obtained her Personal Training and Group Exercise Certification through ACE in 2011 which was soon followed by her 200RYT certification through Vibe Yoga. Brooke enjoys the challenge and discipline of fitness classes used in combination with the creativity and relaxation of the vinyasa yoga practice. Expect her classes to be unique and ever-changing, keeping you on your toes and always presenting new challenges!

  • Chris Dintaman
Chris rediscovered yoga in 2007 while rehabbing from a shoulder injury, and again in late 2010 after reconstructive shoulder surgery. He has a daily personal practice of either Vinyasa yoga or restorative yoga depending on his mind-body-spirit needs. He brings a deep amount of gratitude and respect for the nourishment his yoga practice brings to his life. He believes yoga requires us to summon our truest selves to the personal space of our practice and yoga mat each and every day. He believes that yoga is a form of medicine, applied through its physical demands, but also the mental discipline it requires, regardless of the style. Chris completed Vibe Yoga Schools’ 200-Hr RYT training in Vinyasa yoga in 2011. He was inspired to become a yoga teacher as an honor of giving back to his teachers and mentors, and to offer his experience to others who desire to find nourishment through their own yoga practice. He strives to help students find the balance of excitement and challenge with stillness and calm. His goal is to guide classes that will help cultivate self-acceptance and personal non-judgement for each person, both on and off the mat.

David is an easygoing person who loves working with people and is always trying to put a smile on your face. In his classes, expect to be challenged, work up a sweat, and most importantly, have fun.

  • Elisabeth Andrews
Elisabeth is a yoga and Pilates instructor with ten years’ experience. She is passionate about helping students access their own strength and wisdom through their practice. Though much of her yoga training is in the Ashtanga tradition, she loves working with beginners to help them find a secure footing and comfort with yoga fundamentals. Off the mat, she can be found writing for a variety of media outlets including Bloomington’s city magazine, Bloom, as well as chasing around her two-year-old daughter.

  • Ellie Bernstein
Ellie Bernstein was introduced to Pilates as a young teenager by the director of her ballet company. At the time, she didn’t understand why she had to “work out” more than the 25+ hours she was dancing already. After multiple injuries forced her to quit dancing in her early twenties, it became clear why Pilates was so important. This revelation led her to become certified in Pilates in order to help other people prevent injury and gain strength. She completed her 600 hour comprehensive certification in April 2011 and is continuing her fitness journey in the Vibe Yoga Studio teacher training this fall. Her classes are upbeat, challenging, and most importantly, fun!

  • Emily Trinkle
Emily first found yoga at Vibe in 2008, when she decided to try something new in her life. She quickly became immersed in the heated practices, and craved the Zen after affects yoga brought to her. Like many, she began yoga for its physical benefits, but soon realized it not only gave her toned biceps, but a less-critical mind, a more loving heart, and most of all, happiness. Her new-found passion led her to join the Vibe Yoga Teacher Training in 2011, and obtain a 200-hour Vinyasa Flow certification. Her classes will provide you with encouragement, self-expression, and laughter. If yoga has taught her anything, it has been to not take life too seriously. Aside from being a yogi, Emily is also a vegan foodie, animal lover, and wife of her spouse, Eli.

  • Erin Thomas
Erin discovered yoga in 2009 when her best friend dragged her to a class during a visit to California. Though terrified of the unknown, she was instantly hooked to the feeling of her first class — completely blissful and terribly sweaty! Back in Bloomington, she found that rolling out her mat was a surefire way to check out from the craziness of her day. In hopes of developing her understanding of yoga and becoming a more involved member of the Bloomington yoga community, Erin participated in the 100-hour CorePower Teacher Training at Vibe. It was there that she found an even deeper appreciation for the practice and a true love for teaching. Erin completed her 200-hour RYT training with CorePower Yoga in February 2010. In her classes, you’ll be challenged to let go of your stress, tune into yourself, and infuse powerful sweat-inducing asanas with a playful approach. When Erin’s not teaching or practicing yoga, you can spot her warm smile behind the desk at Vibe, welcoming you to the studio!
